Missing Attributes in Orders Affecting Confirmation Emails and Integrated Services

We have received an update from Shopify regarding the ongoing issue. It has been triaged and is actively being worked on this week. They understand the importance of resolving this matter promptly and have made it a priority.

One of the effects of this issue is inaccurate/missing details in the order confirmation email. In the meantime, if you are using our rates and orders contain our ZapietId, we have created a workaround for the order confirmation template to be based on this. Since the ZapietId contains the correct information, the order confirmation using it will also be accurate. Please reach out to our support team to have your template updated as a temporary workaround while we wait for Shopify to resolve the issue.

We’ve identified a problem where some of our app's attributes are randomly being dropped from orders. Not all merchants are affected, only a handful seem to be. This issue affects only some orders and is causing order confirmation emails to be sent without our app's details and integrated services are not receiving the necessary information.

We have contacted Shopify, and they are currently investigating the issue. In the meantime, we have a backup tool that restores missing attributes based on the Zapiet ID; however, this restoration happens after order confirmation emails have been sent and after the orders are sent to integrated services.

If you are affected, please reach out to our team, and we can provide an additional backup script that helps with ensuring that orders are created with all of our app's attributes.
